A dramatic body camera footage showed how Nashville police officers responded after six people, including three children, were killed on Monday in yet another brutal shooting incident in the United States. The shooting took place at a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee.&nbsp;

The video started by showing how a police officer entered the school carrying rifles. The video further showed police officers firing multiple bullets into the suspected attacker.&nbsp;

Police have identified the attacker as Audrey Elizabeth Hale, who was a transgender person. The motive behind the soul-shaking incident is still unknown.

The video has been taken from the body-worn cameras of two of the responding officers. It showed police conducting a room-by-room search. After they cleared one classroom after another on the first floor, they went upstairs to the second floor and finally shot down the suspected shooter.&nbsp;

Shots can be heard seconds before the suspect comes into view and drops to the floor after apparently being shot. One officer fires additional rounds into the assailant, who appears to be moving on the ground as another officer repeatedly yells, "Get your hands away from the gun!"&nbsp;

Police spokesperson Don Aaron told reporters that the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said that they started receiving calls about a shooter at 10:13am (local time) and the suspect was pronounced dead by 10:27am (local time).&nbsp;

According to the K-12 School Shooting Database,&nbsp;a website founded by researcher David Riedman, Nashville school attack marked the 90th school shooting in the US this year. Last year saw 303 such incidents, the highest of any year in the database, which goes back to 1970.&nbsp;

During a previous press briefing, Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake said Hale self-identified as being transgender, although Drake offered no further clarity. Drake and other officials repeatedly referred to the suspect with female pronouns. Hale used male pronouns on a LinkedIn page that listed recent jobs in graphic design and grocery delivery.&nbsp;

Police worldwide have taken to technology to fight crime and undetake surveillance operations with the help of drones but a unique startup in Chicago named Benchmark Analytics has come up with a software to pointout police behaviour which the Minneapolis&nbsp;Police Department is looking at very seriously in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder by a police officer.

The announcement was made earlier by police chief Medaria Arradondo. The software has been jointly developed by University of Chicago. The model with the help of algorithms is reportedly able to predict which cop is likely to engage in improper behaviour.

The system takes into account complaints filed by residents, profile of policemen and then ranks them on their "risk" factor.

According to the company's CEO Ron Huberman it combines the University of Chicago's analytical technology with the police department's data to arrive at a conclusion by generating a daily score. It helps the department to work with the cop and help the person to be coached before an official complaint is raised.

The technology helps to negate the possibility of a one-off behaviour by a cop which could lead to mishandling of an incident rather it analysies a pattern of behaviour so that corrective steps can be taken beforehand.

The company has said the &nbsp;predictive data is being used by several law enforcement agencies with Nashville set to flag off the techonlogy shortly.

However, the technology is also dependent on the quality of data and lack of accuracy could hamper its pin-point usage, also the technology is expensive which not every agency or departement can afford.

Nashville's department has reportedly paid $455,000 for a three-year contract, although some agencies have reported it is a three-year deal. The licensed product which is now being widely put on display for commercial purposes has been a point of contention among officials.

The gunman, who began shooting outside the restaurant and then moved inside, aborted his attack and fled when a customer, 29-year-old James Shaw Jr., wrestled the rifle from him in what authorities called an act of heroism.

"We don't know why he went into the Waffle House," Metropolitan Nashville Police spokesman Don Aaron told reporters on Monday. He said an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle was used in the attack.

Reinking, who had a pistol and ammunition in a backpack when he was arrested, was not talking to police. He was being held at a Nashville jail on bond initially set at $500,000 for each of four murder charges, online jail records showed.
