Steve Greenberg, an attorney for Kelly, said in an interview on Friday that there was no evidence to support the accusations contained in the documentary, calling it a "for-profit hit piece full of falsities, full of mistakes."

The Lifetime series featured interviews with several women making on-camera allegations of sexual, mental and physical abuse by Kelly, as well as interviews with some of his former managers and producers.

The latest accusations echo similar ones against the singer dating back 25 years. After the documentary aired, Chicago's top prosecutor called on potential victims and witnesses to come forward.

"We cannot seek justice without you," Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx said this week at a news conference.

According to media reports, prosecutors in Georgia have contacted an attorney for an Atlanta-area couple who appeared in the documentary and accuse Kelly of brainwashing their daughter.

Reuters was unable independently to verify the accusations in the documentary and could not immediately reach prosecutors for comment.

&nbsp;In 2008, the singer was tried and acquitted on child pornography charges in Chicago.

"There`s women saying things, which is&nbsp;ofcourse&nbsp;their prerogative, but there is no evidence that any of it happened," Greenberg said of the documentary.&nbsp;

Kannie Yu LaPack, a spokeswoman for Lifetime, said:&nbsp;

Lifetime is part of A&amp;E Networks, which is a joint venture between Hearst Communications and Walt Disney Co.

Buckingham, 69, one of the most influential members of the British-American band behind hits like 'Don't Stop' and 'Rhiannon,' was dropped earlier this year from the tour lineup. 
 
In a lawsuit filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Buckingham said the dispute stemmed from a clash between the planned 2018/19 Fleetwood Mac tour and Buckingham`s wishes to play some solo dates. 
 
The lawsuit claimed that each member of the group would have earned about $12 million to $14 million for the 50-city tour, which kicked off last week. 
 
The other band members "intentionally acted to interfere with Buckingham’s relationship with (concert promoters) Live Nation and the prospective economic benefit he was to receive as a result of his participation in the tour,” the lawsuit said. 
 
Buckingham said he learned he had been dropped two days after a Grammy Musicares celebration in New York in January 2018 honouring the main members of the band - Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, and Buckingham. 
 
"Less than a week after having shared a stage at Musicares, the other members of Fleetwood Mac had suddenly cut Buckingham off entirely," the lawsuit said. 
 
Representatives of the band had no immediate comment on the lawsuit on Thursday. 
 
Fleetwood Mac, which first formed in 1967, has been plagued by behind-the-scenes romantic and creative tensions among its members and a shifting lineup over the years. 
 
Buckingham included in the lawsuit a copy of an email he sent to Fleetwood in February, begging the band to overcome its differences. 
 
"After 43 years and the finish line clearly in sight, it is hard to escape the conclusion that for the five of us to splinter apart now would be the wrong thing," he wrote. 
 
"If there is a way to work this through, I believe we must try. I love you no matter what," he wrote.

Singer Raghu Dixit, who is the latest to be accused of misconduct in the #MeToo movement, said Wednesday that the account of the person leveling allegations against him was mostly accurate but he is not a predator. 
 
The singer said he "completely misread" the situation and had immediately apologised to the person concerned and will do so again in private.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Dixit, the frontman for the Raghu Dixit Project, a multilingual folk music band, was accused of sexual harassment by an anonymous woman, whose account was shared by a fellow singer, Chinmayi Sripaada on Twitter. 
 
The woman, who called the musician "among the top predators", said Dixit once molested her at a recording.&nbsp; 
&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; 
"Many years ago, I was called to his studio for a recording and he started talking ill about his wife (like most married men do) His wife is a wonderful human being," said the woman. 
 
"When we got done with an ad-hoc recording, he pulled me closer and asked me to give him a kiss when he was signing my cheque... Later at the door, he tried to carry me and I ran down crying..." the screenshot shared by Sripaada read. 
 
Dixit, in his lengthy statement shared on Twitter, said Sripaada should not be attacked for sharing the story as she was only standing up for others. 
"I remember the incident that Chinmayi's post refers to. I know who the person in question is and I have apologised to her in the past and apart from this public apology, will do so again privately.&nbsp; 
 
"This incident did happen but not entirely like it was described. It was completely silly misjudgment on my part. I gave the person a hug and that led me to trying to kiss her before she stopped and left from my studio. She then texted me and told me that she did not like my behavior and I apologised profusely for what I did," Dixit said.&nbsp; 
 
He said he and his wife, with whom he is separated now, were in a bad space at the time and in the discussion with the singer, he did talk about his personal life. 
 
"... I definitely sought comfort. This person was incredibly sweet and sympathetic to what I said and I completely misread the situation. 
"Am I a predator? Definitely not. Did I lure this singer or any other with a chance to sing for a movie? Not at all. This singer had already finished singing the song. Did I speak ill of my wife? No, but I did vent out that we were in a bad place."&nbsp; 
 
Barely minutes before Dixit issued his statement, Sripaada shared another anonymous account of a woman who described how he propositioned her by narrating a sob story about his wife.&nbsp; 
 
"Once he called me home to make me listen to new tunes for his movie and wanted my opinion on the same. While we were in his studio he shared his sob story and then while he was playing his tune, he asked me to sit on his lap so I could listen closely. I politely told him to take a walk. Finally, he realized nothing was happening," the screenshot, shared by Sripaada said.
