The 37-year-old former actress, Meghan Markle, known for her glamorous public appearances and trendy attires was spotted in a black one-shoulder dress to present the British Womenswear Designer of the Year award.

Meghan, while presenting the award said, “It is such an honor to be here celebrating British fashion and British fashion designers in my new home of the UK.” She looked bright and happy in the black dress, that she accessorised with golden bangles and studs. She kept the look clean with minimal makeup and pulled back hair in a neat bun. As Meghan presented the award, she kept on hand fondly at her baby bump. She wore dark brown paint, something never seen on the royals as the British monarch is not too fond of them. The award was given to british designer Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy label, who had designed Meghan’s wedding gown that caught the fancy of people worldwide. The white wedding gown that Meghan wore for her wedding to Prince Harry, was simple in its cut and style but had a long trail that had historical significance, given that it carried a representational image of all countries in the Commonwealth. Clare, 48, thanked Meghan personally in her speech at the star-studded awards ceremony at the historic venue in Kensington, London. She was quoted: “This woman is so amazing. I got to know Meghan on such a personal level. To have someone like that trust you on such a personal moment in their life... The Royal family arrived on Monday (December 25) at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandrigham to attend the traditional Christmas Day church service.

Prince Harry&#39;s fiancee, American actress Meghan Markle, joined Queen Elizabeth and other senior Windsors for their family Christmas celebrations, in what commentators said was a break with royal protocol that royal partners must wait until they are married before being invited.

The queen and her close family usually spend the festive season at her Sandringham estate in eastern England and Buckingham Palace said she and the other senior royals would attend the service at the local church on Christmas Day as they have done for many years.

Last month, Queen Elizabeth&#39;s grandson, the fifth-in-line to the British throne, and Markle, who stars in the US TV legal drama &quot;Suits&quot;, announced their engagement with the marriage to take place at Windsor Castle in May next year.
