<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Indian community in Tokyo, Japan on Monday. <p>In his talk to the Indian community, Modi said "India is going through a massive transformative phase today".&nbsp;</p>

<p>He added that the "world is appreciating India for its efforts towards services towards humanity".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Modi said India is making "tremendous progress" on its digital infrastructure and that 1 GB of data today is cheaper than a small bottle of cold drink.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Broadband connectivity is reaching villages, over 100 crore mobile phones are active in India, 1 GB is cheaper than a small bottle of cold drink," Modi said, adding that "this data is becoming the tool for service delivery".&nbsp;</p>
