A few children were playing outside the Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf when the bouncy castle lifted 15 to 20 feet and landed inside the stadium where a baseball game was being played. Emergency services called Citing Charles County authorities, the report said that some children fell to the ground before the bouncy castle landed. Emergency services were called and the two children were flown to Children's National Hospital in Washington DC by Maryland State Police, Sky News reported. The five-year-old boy, who was a resident of La Plata town in Maryland, was pronounced dead. The second child was wounded but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. Witnesses told Sky News that the castle was secured by stakes hammered into the ground. '...began caring for patients within minutes' In a statement, the local government area of Charles County said that emergency services who were already at the stadium for the game along with trainers from the baseball team and other volunteers began caring for patients within minutes after the bouncy castle took off.
