<p>Yes. United State's space organisation NASA has a mail from us. Travelling light years, galloping over miles of the outer world, the space agency has delivered for us the perfect dose of beauty and intrigue.</p>

<p>The mail is from Mars, a planet that has long been a source of fascination for humankind, steeped in mystery and intrigue. From the ancient Egyptians to modern-day children, Mars has remained an enticing and enigmatically magical planet that we know little about.</p>

<p>However, today this is changing. One of the&nbsp;nearest neighbours of our sun, today the red planet has been the subject of extensive exploration, and our rovers roam the surface of the planet every night.</p>

<p>Every day we are learning something new about the planet, but today we are not going to learn anything. It's Sunday, so instead of putting anything heavy on our minds, we're gonna sit back and admire the beauty of the desolate planet that is Mars.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Perseverance</strong> will undertake its mission to search for clues of life on Mars which may have existed there billions of years ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Luther Beegle, deputy manager of the science division at NASA said: "Landing on Mars is hard. Landing on any planet is hard. Now that we've done it again, we might get to the point where we think it's routine but it's not. It's a very difficult process and now we get to go to work. The science team gets to go to work."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The engineering team gets to drive the rover across Mars and really see what we can do with it. This is the most complex thing we've ever landed, and it's just going to be a lot of fun over the next few years," Beegle added.</p>

<p>Steve Jurczyk, acting administrator of NASA said: "maybe by mid-to-end of the 2030s we can start pushing out of the<strong> Earth-Moon</strong> system and land astronauts on Mars."</p>

<p>US President Joe <strong>Biden </strong>also hailed the historic landing. Biden congratulated NASA and said that the event has proved once again that with the power of science and American ingenuity, nothing is beyond the realm of possibility.</p>

'Touchdown confirmed': NASA's Perseverance rover lands on Mars

Full-size models of the lander and the rover for "Tianwen-1", China's first Mars exploration mission, made their debuts on Wednesday. The 1.85-meter-high Mars rover weighing 240 kilograms will conduct scientific investigations including the Red Planet's surface composition, material type distribution, geological structure and the Martian meteorological environment.

<p>The composition has stitched together more than 1,000 images taken during the Thanksgiving break between November 24 and December 1 and were then carefully assembled over the ensuing months.</p>

<p>Together, the images include a whopping 1.8 billion pixels.</p>

<p>To snap these pictures and create a panorama, NASA's Curiosity rover used the photo lens on the rover's Mast Camera.</p>

<p>Both panoramas reveal Curiosity's current home of Glen Torridon.</p>

<p>"This is the first time during the mission we've dedicated our operations to a stereo 360-degree panorama," said&nbsp;Ashwin Vasavada, Curiosity's project scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.</p>

<p>On Mars, Glen Torridon is full of intriguing clay mineral deposits that Curiosity has been observing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It's located in Gale Crater, a vast and dry ancient lake bed with a 16,404-foot mountain at its centre.&nbsp;</p>
