<p>A source close to the cops has told the newspaper LA NACION: “Personnel from the Special Investigations Division and the Special Technological Investigations Division were deployed [Wednesday] afternoon to the CasaSur Hotel in Palermo where the singer Liam Payne lost his life last week to carry out a raid […] to obtain elements of interest for the investigation.”</p>

<p>As per the second source, the cops went into the hotel in Argentina to obtain videos and documents from the lobby and courtyard as they investigated the singer's death and his last moments.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Several images showed agents working on computers at the hotel counter.</p>

<p>Another source told US Weekly that the police intended to identify hotel staffers who had been working on the day of Payne’s death. As part of their raid, they sought documents from the hotel’s registration books and information from its computers.&nbsp;</p>

It just doesn't feel real.” For those unaware, Payne died after falling from the balcony of his hotel in Argentina on Wednesday. "Liam had an energy for life and a passion for work that was infectious. He was the brightest in every room and always made everyone feel happy and secure,” he added.
