A 32-year-old man has been arrested in West Bengal for allegedly stalking Sachin Tendulkar&#39;s daughter Sara.&nbsp;

News reports said Sunday that the man got hold of the Tendulkars&#39; landline number and&nbsp;made around 20 calls to it. In the calls, he passed lewd comments about Sara and even threatened to kidnap her.

The reports identified the arrested man as Debkumar Maity, who is allegedly a college dropout.

The reports said Maity allegedly fell in love with Sara, 20, and wanted to marry her after seeing her on TV.&nbsp;

Sara had lodged a complaint against Maity at Mumbai&#39;s Bandra police station.

Maity&#39;s family, the reports said, have claimed he is mentally unstable&nbsp;and has been undergoing treatment for the past eight years. The reports added that Maity will be taken to Mumbai on transit remand after being produced in court.&nbsp;

The reports said the police&nbsp;found a diary in Maity&#39;s home which proclaimed Sara as his wife.&nbsp;

Police are meanwhile looking into how Maity got the landline number and whether he is mentally unstable or not.&nbsp;
