Suspected armed bandits launched twin attacks in Kwara State, targeting a police station, a traditional ruler’s palace, and a prayer gathering.
Authorities said at least 25 people were abducted during the coordinated assaults, while several others were killed or injured.

More than 160 people were killed in deadly attacks on villages in Nigeria’s Kwara state, according to the Red Cross. Authorities blame terrorist cells for the assault, as reports also say the Nigerian military killed around 150 bandits in the region in January.
