At the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt, the producers behind Vyjayanthi Movies, gave an update on the sequel and what the audience can expect from the second part.&nbsp;

When asked about the success of the first part, Priyanka and Swapna Dutt said, “It’s good enough for us to make a good part two.”&nbsp;

The sister duo went on to confirm that 35% of the pre-production is already completed.

“30-35 per cent of part two has already been shot. Kalki 2 will have a big international release,” they revealed.

The producers also talked about Padukone's character and how much she will be involved in part 2 of the movie.&nbsp;

Answering the same, they said, "Deepika will continue to play the role of the Mother in some parts of Part 2."

In the movie, the actress played the role of Sumati, a pregnant woman, who has been saved by Ashwathama (Amitabh Bachchan).&nbsp;The sequel&nbsp;will also feature Prabhas and Bachchan reprising their roles as Bhairava and Ashwathama, respectively.&nbsp;
