The police recovered the body after the neighbours complained of&nbsp;foul smell coming from her house.&nbsp;Das' death has been ruled&nbsp;a suicide, although the investigation is still underway.

Police have&nbsp;seized&nbsp;medicines, mobile&nbsp;and a diary from her house.&nbsp;

Despite continuous&nbsp;efforts by the police, no one from her family has came forward to claim the body.&nbsp;Her last rites were performed by&nbsp;the Mamdani Health and Education Trust NGO&nbsp;on Sunday (June 9). This NGO handles the cremation of unclaimed bodies in the city.

“We spoke to her family. They had returned to their native place two weeks ago. Investigation is underway,” said an officer, as&nbsp;quoted by Mid Day.

Hailing from Assam, the 32-year-old has worked&nbsp;in several Bollywood&nbsp;films and web series including Dekhi Undekhi, Backroad, Hulchul,&nbsp;Siskiyan, Walkman among others. Her most recent role was in Kajol's web series The Trial,&nbsp;the Indian adaptation of the show The Good Wife.&nbsp;
