The powerful lyrics to Legend`s song included lines like, "We will never break, built on a foundation, strong enough to stay, we will never break." 
 
Following the performance, BBMAs host Kelly Clarkson commended the 41-year-old singer and said, "All my love to you and Chrissy." 
 
Earlier this month, the 34-year-old supermodel told fans she had suffered a pregnancy loss, sharing the news in a heartbreaking Instagram post."We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we`ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn`t enough," Teigen posted. 
 
Teigen, who had been expecting her third child with Legend, said they had called the baby Jack.
