<p>Minister of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar on Tuesday in a sharp rebuke to China said that India doesn't comment on internal affairs of other countries and similarly expects other countries to do likewise.</p>

<p>In a strongly-worded statement in response to Chinese reaction to abrogation of article 370,&nbsp;the MEA spokesperson said: Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019, is an internal matter concerning the territory of India. India doesn't comment on the internal affairs of other countries and similarly expects other countries to do likewise.</p>

<p>Speaking on the boundary dispute with China, the MEA spokesperson said two sides have agreed to a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable settlement of boundary question.&nbsp;</p>

<p>So far as India-China boundary question is concerned, the two sides have agreed to a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable settlement of boundary question on the basis of political parameters and guiding principles for the settlement of India-China boundary question, the foreign office spokesperson said and added pending such a settlement, "both sides have agreed to maintain peace and tranquillity in the border areas".</p>

<p>China on Tuesday voiced "serious concern" over the situation in Kashmir and expressed its opposition to India's move to create a separate Union Territory of Ladakh.</p>

<p>The Indian government on Monday revoked Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and proposed that the state be bifurcated into two union territories, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.</p>

<p>In the aftermath of the Doklam crisis of 2017 which led to a 2 month long standoff between Chinese and Indian forces over Bhutanese territory, both India and China have been making concerted efforts to improve ties starting with the famous informal summit in Wuhan in April 2018.</p>

<p>Both leaders have met four times in 2018, starting with Informal&nbsp;Wuhan&nbsp;summit in April followed by bilateral meetings on the sidelines of SCO, BRICS and G20.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier this year, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping met on the&nbsp;sidelines of SCO summit in Kyrgyzstan.&nbsp;The Chinese president will be coming to India later this year for the second informal summit.<br />
