<p>The Switzerland embassy said on Friday that it was deeply concerned about the health of the Swiss couple who were attacked in Fatehpur Sikri near Agra on Sunday (October 22).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Swiss embassy also thanked Indian authorities, citizens and the media for their concern, support, and compassion for the Swiss couple.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The statement by the embassy came a while after ministry of external affairs spokesperson told in a weekly press briefing that they were in touch with the Switzerland embassy.</p>

<p>MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that the ministry believes&nbsp;in quick redressal of the issue. He said that the officials have also visited the victims in the hospital to ensure their safety.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A Swiss couple, hailing from Lausanne in Switzerland, was brutally <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/sushma-swaraj-steps-in-after-swiss-couple-brutally-attacked-in-fatehpur-sikri-22931" target="_blank">thrashed by a group of youth&nbsp;in Fatehpur Sikri on October 22.</a> The couple is currently admitted at Apollo hospital in Delhi.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Thursday, <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/all-five-arrested-in-fatehpur-sikri-attack-22992" target="_blank">all the five accused, including three minors, were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police.&nbsp;</a></p>

<p>Alphons also said that in India, very few incidents like these take place in a year.</p>
