<p>He may be making his debut with alternative cinema but Ishaan has already signed a big-ticket Bollywood movie in <em>Dhadak</em>&nbsp;with Karan Johar&#39;s Dharma Productions.<br />

Ishaan, who is Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor&#39;s half- brother, will star with veteran actor Sridevi&#39;s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor in the movie, which is an official Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster <em>Sairat</em>.<br />

His co-star, Malayalam actor Malavika Mohanan, said although she felt the performance pressure when she came onboard the project, working with Majidi was a &quot;precious opportunity&quot; for her.<br />

&quot;One doesn&#39;t get an opportunity like this every day. Most actors don&#39;t get a film like this in their whole career. There was a pressure to give heart and soul to the film and there was a fear what if we are not able to deliver what is expected from us,&quot; she said.<br />

Mohanan added, &quot;Having said that, I have been a student of cinema and I knew the relevance of Majid Majidi and I never thought I was acting in his film. It was surreal. It was a dream team to work with. The performance he brings out of actors is an amazing.</p>

<p>Acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi on Tuesday said he likes to work with newcomers as he believes heroes are to be found in the crowd.</p>

<p>The Oscar-nominated filmmaker, who is behind globally- acclaimed films such as <em>Children of Heaven</em>&nbsp;and<em> The Color of Paradise</em>, said it was a dream to set a complete film in India and he eventually realised it with <em>Beyond The Clouds</em>.<br />

The movie opened the 48th edition of the International Film Festival of India last evening and is slated to be released next year.<br />

Actor Deepika Padukone had initially auditioned for the movie but Majidi finally chose newcomer Ishaan Khatter and Malayalam cinema actor Malavika Mohanan.<br />

&quot;I choose my subjects from the society... I choose my heroes from the crowd. I mostly work with newcomers, but this doesn&#39;t mean that I don&#39;t want to work with professional ones,&quot; Majidi said at a press conference on the sidelines of IFFI.<br />
<br />
The director said he may work with an established actor in his career later but finds it tough because of the locations he shoots in.<br />
<br />
&quot;It was tough to organise things on the sets with a big star. For one day, we organised auditions with Deepika. I remember it was difficult to manage things as people wanted to meet her and were very curious,&quot; he said.<br />
For Tara&#39;s character, played by Mohanan, Majidi said he was inspired by his travels in India.</p>
