IAF team weathers hurdles; braves rains, clouding to retrieve bodies of AN-32 crash victims

Indian Air Force's search and rescue team on Friday recovered cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and flight data recorder (FDR) of the missing AN-32 aircraft. The process of recovering the mortal remains of all air warriors is still on at the crash site, news agency ANI reported.

Images captured of the probable crash point of missing Indian Air Force's AN-32 aircraft show that the aircraft was quite close to clearing a hill. The aircraft may have failed flying past the hill probably due to the blockage of view due to clouds, news agency ANI reported.

The wreckage of the missing AN-32 aircraft has been found by Mi-17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force following eight-day search operation, said Indian Air Force (IAF).

Group captain and Indian Air Force's spokesperson Anupam Banerjee on Tuesday said that while the Navy and the Army personnel are using "all means" to conduct the search operation for the missing AN-32 aircraft, the mission remains a difficult one because of the terrain.
