<p>The strike targeted the UN's Al-Jaouni Preparatory Boys School in central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp on Wednesday afternoon.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Israeli military said they were targeting Hamas militants, who were planning attacks from the school premises. However, the claim could not be confirmed independently.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Out of 34, at least 14 dead were brought to Awda and al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, the officials said. Besides, at least 18 people were injured in the strike, they added.&nbsp;</p>
