One of India’s biggest TV stars Hina Khan made her debut in Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt’s film ‘Hacked’, a suspense-thriller that released on February 7, discussing the perils of being online and maintaining a virtual profile that resembles our real world. Essaying the role of a smart and glamorous woman named Sameera Khanna, the film tackles issues of online data security and cyber crime in an engaging story of love and pain.&nbsp;

Talking about her debut film, personal take on cyber crime and laws regarding it and Priyanka Chopra’s Grammys 2020 dress, Hina Khan spoke to WION in an exclusive conversation.&nbsp;

Opening up about her first feature film, Hina said, “Hacked is a thriller on hacking and stalking about this girl Sameera Khanna aka Sam in the film, a fashion editor whose life goes for a toss when one fine day she finds out that a 19-year-old boy has become obsessed with her, to the point of him becoming psychotic for her. This is the story of millions as it’s happening to so many people today.” 
&nbsp; 
She added, “This is a sensitive and important subject to be talked about. This is why I took up the project. I broke down several times while shooting thinking of all that many women are suffering from.”

The film, however&nbsp;dark, has been a learning for the actress as Hina admits to having taken a lot from it. She doesn’t keep pictures on her iCloud, doesn’t save banking details or any pin numbers on her mobile&nbsp;ever since she understood how easy it is for hackers to clone one’s phone and transfer details into another device.&nbsp;

Hina also mentioned that more than laws, which already exist, people need to be more cautious about what they store in their phones. “Before you go to anyone and file a report, there are certain don’ts and do’s to follow. You might not post something online but if you have it on your phone there is always a risk of data getting leaked or stolen. When we didn’t have this technology, everybody remembered phone numbers, bank account details and more,” said Hina on being vigilant of your data.&nbsp; 
&nbsp; 
But interestingly, Hina doesn’t spare too much thought on hackers as she believes in today’s age and date, public figures abroad take control of their lives in their hands in the wake of a hack and share that piece of information with their fans even before the hacker can attempt.

Hina, who is also known for her glamour quotient -- wooing audiences with her stint at Bigg Boss, Cannes&nbsp;and other such public platforms,&nbsp;said it’s important to experiment. “Whenever we decide outfits for me, I like to try different things. In one word, my styling advice to all girls out there, is to experiment.”

The actress also opined on Priyanka Chopra’s scintillating Grammys 2020 appearance that had the world talking. When asked what she thought of her look like a style diva herself, Hina said, “Today only I read somewhere that she is going to be a part of ‘Matrix 4’ cast. All I want to tell anyone who is trolling her for the dress, dude you’re not even half where she is! She doesn't give a damn. Keep trolling her and she will keep climbing higher. She has taken India to a huge level. She is a global star and you have the audacity to troll her on her dress. I challenge the trolls to wear the dress for ten minutes. It’s easy to wear flowy and covered clothes. I know how difficult it is to wear such dresses and she is wearing it with so much grace, elegance and class.”

Dozens of Chinese iPhone users have recently complained that their money was stolen through online payment services after their Apple accounts were allegedly hacked by cyber attackers.

Two major pay pals in China, WeChat payment and AliPay, have been involved in various cases.

AliPay said in its Weibo blog that it contacted Apple and is working to get to the bottom of the breach. It also advised users who have linked their Apple identities to any payment services to lower transaction limits to prevent further losses.

Similar reports have been circulating on Chinese social media platforms with hundreds of people claiming to be the victims of the Apple ID breach. Some even claimed to have lost as much as 10,000 yuan.

Ms Hu living in Hangzhou City of east China's Zhejiang Province is one of the victims. Hu found that her phone keep popping out payment messages on Wednesday, in which they said that her account had paid 6,707 yuan for online games.

"I checked roughly and learned that those unauthorized payments ranged from 3 to 5 yuan, to 500, 600 and 1,000 yuan each. I then checked my Merchants Bank account and found that the records of all unauthorized transactions were consistent with those messages. It means that I made the payments in the Apple app store without my authorization and most of them were made for recharge cards of games," said Hu.

Ms Xi from Tiantai County of Taizhou City in east China's Zhejiang Province shared the same story with Hu. Xi saw her AliPay account make an unauthorized payment totalling 3,836 yuan on Tuesday afternoon alone.

"I paid about 4,000 yuan for recharge cards of the game Honor of Kings in the Apple app store. The first payment is 50 yuan and the three subsequent transactions are each worth 1,000 yuan. And there are also several payments of 118 yuan each. About 4,000 yuan was paid within just three minutes for accumulation of points from 44 to 47 on the game that I have never played," said Xi.

Xi then connected the AliPay service from which she was told that the company has to verify the case with Apple as Xi previously signed an online contract according to which some payments will be automatically made without inputting payment code.

According to Mr Xu who lives in northeast China's Jilin Province, he called the Apple service center three times after his account made unauthorized transactions totalling 2,592 yuan on Monday.

Xu was told that the company won't refund the money under the company's rules and regulations.

Apple told the press that they are still investigating the cases and no further comments have been made by it as of Friday.

Little after order on Judge Loya's death, Supreme Court website reportedly hacked

Several websites in Bangladesh including those of the Bangladesh government, PM Office and the president’s office Bangabhaban were hacked following protest against quotas in government jobs on Tuesday, reports said.&nbsp;

As per reports, the websites were replaced with a page that showed messages related to the quota reform along with a picture of the ongoing protest.&nbsp;

“Hacked by Bangladesh,” the title of the page said.

Reportedly, there have also been a number of attempts to hack the National Portal for quite a few days. The websites of home ministry, education ministry and agriculture ministry and the same of public service commission (PSC) were found hacked around 12am Wednesday.

Telecommunications and Information Technology (ICT) Minister Mustafa Jabbar said that the intelligent department was in process of solving the issue and find the ones responsible for the cyber attack.&nbsp;

Researchers who warned half a dozen&nbsp;robot&nbsp;manufacturers in January about nearly 50 vulnerabilities in their home, business and industrial&nbsp;robots, say only a few of the problems have been addressed.

The researchers, Cesar Cerrudo and Lucas Apa of cybersecurity firm IOActive, said the vulnerabilities would allow hackers to spy on users, disable safety features and make&nbsp;robots lurch and move violently, putting users and bystanders in danger.

While they say there are no signs that hackers have exploited the vulnerabilities, they say the fact that the&nbsp;robots were hacked so easily and the manufacturers&#39; lack of response raise questions about allowing&nbsp;robots in homes, offices and factories.

&quot;Our research shows proof that even non-military&nbsp;robots could be weaponized to cause harm,&quot; Apa said in an interview.

&quot;These&nbsp;robots don&#39;t use bullets or explosives, but microphones, cameras, arms and legs. The difference is that they will be soon around us and we need to secure them now before it&#39;s too late.&quot;

Some of the&nbsp;robot&nbsp;manufacturers defended themselves, saying they had fixed some or all of the issues raised.

Apa&#39;s comments come in the wake of a letter signed by more than 100 leading&nbsp;robotic experts urging the United Nations to ban the development of killer military&nbsp;robots, or autonomous weapons.

Apa, a senior security consultant, said that of the six manufacturers contacted, only one, RethinkRobotics, said some of the problems had been fixed. He said he had not been able to confirm that as his team does not have access to that particular&nbsp;robot.

A spokesman for Rethink&nbsp;Robotics, which makes the Baxter and Sawyer assembly-line&nbsp;robots, said all but two issues - in the education and research versions of its&nbsp;robots - had been fixed.

Apa said a review of updates from the other five manufacturers - Universal&nbsp;Robots of Denmark, SoftBank&nbsp;Robotics and Asratec Corp of Japan, Ubtech of China, and&nbsp;Robotis Inc of South Korea - led him to believe none of the issues he had raised had been fixed.

Asratec said that software released for its&nbsp;robots so far was limited to &quot;hobby use sample programs&quot;, and it believed IOActive was pointing to security vulnerabilities in those. Software it planned to release for commercial use would be different, it said.

Cybersecurity experts said the&nbsp;robot&nbsp;vulnerabilities were alarming, and cyber criminals could use them to disrupt factories by ransomware attacks, or with&nbsp;robots slowed down or forced to embed flaws in the products they are programmed to build.

&quot;The potential impact to companies, and even countries, could be massive,&quot; said Nathan Wenzler, chief security strategist at AsTech, a San Francisco-based security consulting company, &quot;should an attacker exploit the vulnerability within the applications that control these&nbsp;robots.&quot;

Even in the home, danger lurks, said Apa, demonstrating how a 17-inch (43.18 cm) tall Alpha 2robot&nbsp;from Ubtech could be programmed to violently jab a screwdriver.

&quot;Maybe it&#39;s small and it&#39;s not really going to hurt right now, but the trend is that the&nbsp;robots are going to be more powerful,&quot; he said. &quot;We tested industrial ones which are really heavy and powerful, and some of the attacks work with them.&quot;

Apa and Cerrudo released their initial findings in January.

Even in the home, danger lurks, said Apa, demonstrating how a 17-inch (43.18 cm) tall Alpha 2robot from Ubtech could be programmed to violently jab a screwdriver. "Maybe it's small and it's not really going to hurt right now, but the trend is that the robots are going to be more powerful," he said. "We tested industrial ones which are really heavy and powerful, and some of the attacks work with them." Apa and Cerrudo released their initial findings in January. This week, they released details about the specific vulnerabilities they found, including one case where they mix several of those vulnerabilities together to hijack a Universal Robot factory robot, making it lurch about and be a potential threat.

Unidentified attackers hacked a 62-year-old Hindu monastery worker to death in Bangladesh&#39;s Pabna district on Friday, police said, the latest in a series of such attacks on religious minorities in the mainly Muslim country. 
 
The latest murder came as Bangladeshi police announced a special week-long crackdown on militants as they ramp up their efforts to stem the killings with five members of a banned Islamist outfit killed in gunbattles with officers in the past three days. 
 
Nityaranjan Pande was taking his regular early morning walk when the attackers set upon him, killing him on the spot, police said. 
 
&quot;As a diabetic, everyday he walks early in the morning. Today as he was walking, several attackers hacked him in the neck. He died on the spot,&quot; local police station chief Abdullah Al-Hasan told AFP. 
 
&quot;He had been working at the monastery for about 40 years. In recent years he was the head of its office staff,&quot; he said. 
 
There was no immediate claim of responsibility. 
 
The head of police in the northwestern district of Pabna, where the Shri Shri Thakur Anukulchandra Ashram is located, said the killing bore the hallmarks of recent attacks by Islamist extremists on minorities and secular activists.

Bangladesh is reeling from a wave of murders of secular and liberal activists and religious minorities that have left nearly 50 people dead in the past three years.

Her husband had led several high-profile operations against the banned Jamayetul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), an Islamist militant group, in the southeastern city of Chittagong. 
 
Most of the latest attacks have been claimed either by the Islamic State group or by a South Asian branch of Al-Qaeda 
 
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina&#39;s government has, however, blamed homegrown Islamists for the attacks, rejecting claims of responsibility from IS and Al-Qaeda. 
 
The JMB is one of the main domestic militant outfits in the frame for the murders with police shooting dead five members of the group since Tuesday. 
 
Shahidul Hoque, inspector general of police, vowed in an address to a meeting of top police officials in Dhaka Thursday that those involved in the killing of the police officer&#39;s wife would be &quot;brought to justice very soon&quot;.
