<p>Announcing the release date, Nikkhil tweeted, "Have waited for a long time for this story to be told. Unveiling an explosive account of one of the most controversial events to have rocked modern India."</p>

<p>The film is slated to release on August 15, 2019, and will clash with Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’ starring lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, along with Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Made in China’.&nbsp;</p>

After issuing official statements, terminating contracts and initiating legal battles, KriArj Entertainment has filed an FIR against actor John Abraham accusing him of 'cheating'.&nbsp;<br />

A statement released by KriArj read, "FIR has been registered by Khar Police Station against John Abraham and his company JA Ent after criminal complaint was filed by Kriarj Entertainment for commission of various criminal offences including cheating, breach of trust, fraud, misappropriation of funds and copyright infringement due to John and his company duping KriArj Entertainment out of the crores of rupees invested by KriArj Entertainment towards the &nbsp;production of the film <em>Parmanu</em>."<br />
