In a shocking turn of events, a 16-year-old boy from India’s northern Uttar Pradesh state reportedly hired three shooters to get his father killed, police officers revealed Saturday (Mar 23).

Father of the boy was shot dead on Thursday in the Patti area of Pratapgarh.

The boy was detained while the three shooters hired by him, namely Piyush Pal, Shubham Soni and Priyanshu, were arrested, said Additional Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar Singh.

The boy was reportedly angry with his father, 50-year-old Mohammed Naeem, as he 'didn’t give him enough money'.

The three shooters said the teen promised to pay them INR 600,000 ($7,000) in total, out of which INR 150,000 ($1,800) were paid in advance.

Speaking about the incident, ASP Durgesh Kumar Singh said, "The minor told us that he hired the shooters to murder his father and promised to pay them ₹6 lakh. He paid ₹1.5 lakh in advance with an assurance that he will pay the remaining amount once they kill his father."

"The minor said that he often used to steal money from the shop or jewellery from the house to fulfil his wishes. He had planned to get his father killed earlier also but had failed," the officer added.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, a man from Rajasthan state killed his 60-year-old father and buried his body in the courtyard of his house.

"This case is about constant, never-ending safety failures that resulted in the death of a human being and nearly killed another," said Morrissey.

Gutierrez's lawyer, Jason Bowles, has revealed plans to appeal the verdict.

"My sense was the evidence was insufficient, and it was a lot of speculation," said Bowles.

During the trial, Bowles argued that the production company's decision to employ Gutierrez as both an armourer and props assistant to save costs contributed to the safety lapses.&nbsp;

Bowles contended that Gutierrez, as a junior member on set, was unfairly shouldering blame for management failures.&nbsp;

As per the news website, the third man who was arrested by the Algerian coastguard is Smail Snabe, also a French-Moroccan national. He was made to appear before a prosecutor on Wednesday, reported Le360.

The fatal shooting incident has caused outrage in Morocco, after a fisherman posted a distressing video capturing one of the victims' lifeless bodies floating at sea.

Among the group, Mohamed Kissi, as per AFP, was the sole survivor.&nbsp;

Recalling the incident, Mohamed said, "We got lost, but we kept going until we found ourselves in Algeria."&nbsp;

The man whose brother Bilal was killed in the shooting said that the group had also run out of fuel, they realised they were in Algeria "because a black Algerian dinghy came towards us" and those on board "fired at us".

"Thank God I wasn't hit, but they killed my brother and my friend," he added.

He refuted any suggestion that they were attempting to flee upon being detected by the coastguard and instead asserted that his brother had tried to talk to the authorities before the fatal shots were fired.

"They arrested my other friend. Five bullets hit my brother and my friend. My other friend was hit by a bullet."

Mohamed was picked up by the Moroccan navy and taken back to Saidia marina.

Owing to Morocco's territorial claims over the disputed Western Sahara region, the relationship between these two nations has been strained for a long time.

Johnson and Smith have pleaded not guilty to charges including first-degree murder in the November 2021 shooting of Young Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Thornton Jr. A motive for the killing has not been disclosed.

The 36-year-old rapper, label owner and producer was buying cookies near his boyhood home in Memphis when he was gunned down by two men who drove up to the bakery in a stolen Mercedes Benz, authorities said. The slaying rattled Memphis and shook the entertainment world.

Two other men have been charged in the killing.

Jermarcus Johnson, the half-brother of Justin Johnson, pleaded guilty on June 9 to three counts of accessory after the fact, and he could testify at the trial.

Jermarcus Johnson acknowledged that he helped the two suspects communicate by cellphone after the killing while they were on the run from authorities and that he helped one of them communicate with his probation officer after the killing.

Jermarcus Johnson also identified a photo in which Justin Johnson was wearing the same clothing as one of the two shooters accused of gunning down Young Dolph the day the rapper was killed.

After Jermarcus Johnson’s plea hearing, Hagerman said he had no role in the actual killing of Young Dolph, but that he was one of “multiple players” who did things connected to it.

Another man, Hernandez Govan, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and conspiracy in the case. He is accused of arranging the killing. Govan has been released on bond.

Young Dolph was known in Memphis for his charitable works and his success as an independent musical artist and businessman. Young Dolph had been in the city to visit a sick relative and hand out Thanksgiving turkeys at a church when he was killed.

After his death, Memphis named a street after him and the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA honoured him during a game. Murals of the rapper have been painted around the city and a pop-up museum featuring him was opened earlier this year.

The bakery, Makeda’s Homemade Cookies, became an impromptu memorial site for the slain rapper. It was closed for months after the shooting but has since reopened.

People gathered in a California town on Wednesday to protest against the police shooting of an urmed black man who was reportedly mentally ill.

Alfred Olango, 30, was shot in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon on Tuesday. The police had received a call about a man behaving erratically and walking in the streets.

El Cajon police chief Jeff Davis said Olango had ignored repeated calls by officers to remove his hand from his pocket. The officers felt threatened as the man took a &#39;shooting stance&#39;. An officer fired a taser at Olango while the other used his weapon.

People gathered in a California town on Wednesday to protest against the police shooting of an urmed black man who was reportedly mentally ill. Alfred Olango, 30, was shot in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon on Tuesday. The police had received a call about a man behaving erratically and walking in the streets. El Cajon police chief Jeff Davis said Olango had ignored repeated calls by officers to remove his hand from his pocket. The officers felt threatened as the man took a 'shooting stance'. An officer fired a taser at Olango while the other used his weapon. "At one point, the subject rapidly drew an object from his front pants pocket, placed both hands together and extended them rapidly toward the officer taking up what appeared to be a shooting stance," Davis said in a statement. "At this time, the officer with the electronic control device discharged his weapon. Simultaneously, the officer with the firearm discharged his weapon several times, striking the subject." A bystander's Facebook live video recorded the woman saying that she called 911 for help with her mentally ill brother. "You guys came and killed my brother," the woman wails in the video that had been viewed 82,000 times by Wednesday morning. "I called you guys to help my brother. A Minnesota police officer who fatally shot a black motorist during a traffic stop this week was reacting to the presence of a gun, not the man&#39;s race, his lawyer said on Saturday. 
 
The fatal shooting of Philando Castile, 32, on Wednesday night in a St. Paul suburb has sparked days of protests in Minnesota and cities around the United States, intensified by a video of the bloody aftermath Castile&#39;s girlfriend Diamond Reynolds streamed live on the internet from the car. 
 
&quot;This incident had nothing to do with the race of the driver,&quot; said attorney Thomas Kelly, who represents Officer Jeronimo Yanez, who fired the fatal shots. &quot;It had everything to do with the presence of a gun.&quot; 
 
Castile was killed a day after Louisiana police fatally shot a black man during an arrest and the day before an African-American man killed five police officers and wounded seven others during a protest march in Dallas. 
 
Yanez and Officer Joseph Kauser of the St. Anthony Police Department stopped Castile&#39;s car in Falcon Heights, a suburb of St. Paul the department patrols. Both are on administrative leave, which is standard practice after an officer-involved shooting. 
 
Reynolds said in the video officers told them Castile was stopped for a broken tail light and was getting his license and registration when he was shot. Authorities have not confirmed the reason for the stop. 
 
&quot;The use of deadly force here was necessitated by the actions of the driver of the vehicle,&quot; Kelly said.
