Delhi and Noida roads witnessed massive traffic congestion on Monday (Dec. 2) as several farmer groups are on a march towards the national capital. The Bharatiya Kisan Parishad (BKP) organised the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march along with other farmer groups, including Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), in order to press for benefits and compensation.

“The all-India protest by lakhs of farmers from June 1 to 10 to observe the first anniversary of the Mandsaur shooting is a direct affirmation of the 'anti-farmer' policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Congress' communications in-charge Randeep Surjewala said.
