<p>The right-hander smashed the slow left-armer to all parts of the ground, becoming only the second batter after India’s Yuvraj Singh to hit five sixes in an over in T20Is. Notably, Yuvraj hit six sixes in an over against England’s Stuart Broad during the inaugural edition.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Buttler was on song against the tournament debutants, the USA, with Phil Salt playing a handy knock to ensure England won the match within the asked period to qualify for the semis. They completed the run chase inside ten overs, finishing as the group leaders, something Buttler always wanted.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Yeah, it was, absolutely," Buttler replied when asked if topping the group was their ultimate aim.</p>

<p>"You've got to earn the right to start with, to try and get in, and then once we got through a few overs, we were really trying to target the [short] side with the wind. We paid the USA a lot of respect, but when we came here, we talked a lot about our intensity. If we could bring that on the field, we thought we'd be too good,” he continued.</p>

<p>Although the defending champions struggled throughout the tournament, with their draw against Scotland, loss to Australia (in the Group Stage) and narrow defeat to South Africa in the Super 8s, they stood up when the chips were down, proving why they deserve to play the semis.</p>

<h2>Buttler praises hat-trick taker Jordan</h2>

<p>Chris Jordan created history in Barbados, his birthplace, by picking a hat-trick and becoming the first English men’s player to do so in T20Is. He picked four wickets in total, all coming in the 19th over.&nbsp;</p>
