The newspaper also said that Trump may have improperly used the foundation to settle legal disputes, including one at his Palm Beach, Florida, estate, diverted income from his business to the charity to avoid paying income tax, and donated foundation money to support Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, a Republican, who was considering launching an investigation into Trump University, Trump&rsquo;s for-profit education venture.

The Trump campaign said in a statement on Monday that the charity would cooperate with the investigation.

The Republican presidential candidate had last December called for a &ldquo;total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the US&rdquo; in the wake of gruesome Islamic-state inspired mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, that killed 14 people and injured 22.&nbsp;

However, on being asked whether the statement meant a blanket ban on Muslims, he responded with an &ldquo;of course not&rdquo;.&nbsp;

Clinton said Trump&#39;s business interests in Cuba in the 1990s &quot;appear to violate US law, certainly flout American foreign policy,&quot; as she accused him of misleading American voters.

Newsweek earlier reported that Trump hotel and casino executives spent $68,000 while trying to get a foothold in Cuba during a trip in 1998.

That was well before the United States loosened its decades-old embargo and when expenditures in the Caribbean country were illegal without US government approval.

A former Trump executive who spoke to Newsweek on condition of anonymity said the company did not obtain a government license for its spending before the trip.

The issue plays into Clinton&#39;s main line of attack against her Republican rival.

Her campaign has framed the election as an existential moment for the republic: a choice between Clinton&#39;s safe pair of hands and the latent authoritarianism of an erratic and duplicitous mogul.&nbsp;

Trump's son compares Syrian refugees to lethal candies, triggers online outrage

After upsetting Mexicans with his &quot;build a wall&quot; rhetoric, US Presidential candidate Donald Trump is now being blamed for the free fall of the North American country&#39;s national currency. 
 
The currency dipped to a record 20 pesos to the dollar on Monday, which is a 2.15 per cent&nbsp;fall from last week, according to Mexican banking firm Banamex, reported AFP. 
 
Fear of a possible interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve, backed vigorously by Trump, is bing cited as the key factor behind the Peso&#39;s drop. 
 
But analysts now say that &nbsp;the Federal Reserve will keep it unchanged when it meets on Tuesday and Wednesday, AFP reported.

Documentaries and testimony makes it clear this trial was about race, not evidence. 
 
Years after the five were released from jail after being exonerated by DNA evidence, when it was proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump had called for five innocent people to die, he still has not apologised or expressed regret. Just the opposite:

This particular instance is especially egregious because the false data supports the dangerous and patently untrue narrative that African Americans pose a fatal threat to white people, a narrative which seems to be used to justify systemic racism. 
 
The internet is<a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-racist-examples_us_56d47177e4b03260bf777e83"> full of listicles</a> about Trump&rsquo;s prejudice on the campaign trail, but I want to emphasise the nature of it rather than the volume. No amount of proof changes his mind. Trump still believes in things long after they&rsquo;ve been debunked. It&rsquo;s like he&rsquo;d rather be factually wrong than politically correct. 
 
Remember, Trump&rsquo;s fluency in racial code (&ldquo;dog whistling&rdquo;) allows him to be racist while, in a strictly technical and superficial sense, denying that he&rsquo;s racist; Maybe a court didn&rsquo;t force him to admit wrongdoing, but could anybody confidently say Trump wasn&rsquo;t, and isn&rsquo;t, deeply and unrepentantly prejudiced? 
 
Reading between the lines, insofar as it&rsquo;s necessary to, is a matter of watching the <a href="http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/03/02/a_list_of_violent_incidents_at_donald_trump_rallies_and_events.html">violence at his rallies</a>, listening as he himself threatens to beat up <a href="http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/news/donald-trump-threatens-to-fight-black-lives-matter-activists-10451119.html">Black Lives Matter</a> protestors, and exploring the growing <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2016/aug/30/breitbart-takes-centre-stage-as-donald-trump-embraces-the-alt-right">alt-right </a>world he&rsquo;s inspiring. 
 
But lately Trump has pretended to care about African Americans. &ldquo;What the hell do you have to lose?&rdquo; is what he said of&nbsp;them, to a room full of white people. This statement may as well be preceded by &ldquo;everybody knows I don&rsquo;t care about black people, but&hellip;&rdquo;. African Americans get this: <a href="http://heavy.com/news/2016/08/2016-presidential-polls-trump-vs-clinton-latest-new-update-versus-black-voters-african-american-zero-bubonic-plague-hillary-clinton-hispanic-minority-non-white/">Polls </a>show their support of Trump is somewhere between three and zero per cent. &ldquo;Dividing America&rdquo; doesn&rsquo;t begin to describe Trump&mdash;his supporters include&nbsp;<a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-usa-trump-idUSKCN0YN35S">North Korea</a>, <a href="https://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/2016-08-24/why-isis-rooting-trump-0">ISIS</a>, and various people affiliated with the <a href="http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/08/05/488802494/former-kkk-leader-david-duke-says-of-course-trump-voters-are-his-voters">Ku Klux Klan</a>. 
 
Yet polls (like all of them, possibly flawed) put Trump near Clinton. Trump&#39;s very real and very dangerous bigotry is corrosive. There will be jokes every time he says something outrageous, and Trump-Fatigue makes people tune him out altogether. But remember, If Trump becomes president, both official and unofficial and legal and physical violence will be perpetrated against minority communities. 
 
The election should be about a range of important, complicated matters, but the pathetic and depressing fact is all other considerations are moot: Trump&#39;s toxicity alone makes him simply unelectable.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Tuesday attacked rival Donald Trump on multiple fronts and also accused him of &#39;hiding his taxes&#39; in the wake of Trump&#39;s comments on Federal Reserve&#39;s monetary policy.&nbsp;

The FBI on Friday poured fresh fuel on the fire sparked by Hillary Clinton&#39;s use of a private email server as secretary of state, releasing heavily redacted notes on its probe, which White House rival Donald Trump seized on to attack her fitness for office. 
 
The 58 pages -- 14 of which were entirely blacked out -- showed that the FBI found no evidence her email system was compromised but decided it could not be ruled out because some of her mobile devices were not recovered. 
 
&quot;The FBI did find that hostile foreign actors successfully gained access to the personal email accounts of individuals with whom Clinton was in regular contact and, in doing so, obtained emails sent to or received by Clinton on her personal account,&quot; the notes said. 
 
Clinton&#39;s use of a private server has been the subject of simmering controversy as she runs for president against Trump, the Republican candidate. 
 
The documents&#39; release follows the FBI&#39;s recommendation in July not to prosecute Clinton for sending unsecured emails with classified material through the server, though it found her to have been &quot;extremely careless.&quot; 
 
Clinton&#39;s campaign said it was &quot;pleased&quot; with the report&#39;s release.

The report also revealed that Colin Powell, who served as secretary of state from 2001 to 2005, warned Clinton to &quot;be very careful&quot; regarding emails. 
 
&quot;Powell warned Clinton that if it became &#39;public&#39; that Clinton had a BlackBerry, and she used it to &#39;do business,&#39; her emails could become &#39;official record(s) and subject to the law,&#39;&quot; the report said, noting Clinton had emailed Powell after taking office in 2009 to ask about his use of a BlackBerry.

The FBI on Friday poured fresh fuel on the fire sparked by Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state, releasing heavily redacted notes on its probe, which White House rival Donald Trump seized on to attack her fitness for office. The 58 pages -- 14 of which were entirely blacked out -- showed that the FBI found no evidence her email system was compromised but decided it could not be ruled out because some of her mobile devices were not recovered. "The FBI did find that hostile foreign actors successfully gained access to the personal email accounts of individuals with whom Clinton was in regular contact and, in doing so, obtained emails sent to or received by Clinton on her personal account," the notes said. Clinton's use of a private server has been the subject of simmering controversy as she runs for president against Trump, the Republican candidate. The documents' release follows the FBI's recommendation in July not to prosecute Clinton for sending unsecured emails with classified material through the server, though it found her to have been "extremely careless." Clinton's campaign said it was "pleased" with the report's release. "While her use of a single email account was clearly a mistake and she has taken responsibility for it, these materials make clear why the Justice Department believed there was no basis to move forward with this case," it said in a statement. But Trump's campaign pounced, charging that the notes "reinforce her tremendously bad judgment and dishonesty. "Clinton's secret email server was an end run around government transparency laws that wound up jeopardizing our national security and sensitive diplomatic efforts," Trump spokesman Jason Miller said in a statement. Trump said Clinton's answers to the FBI "defy belief." "I was absolutely shocked to see that her answers to the FBI stood in direct contradiction to what she told the American people. The report also revealed that Colin Powell, who served as secretary of state from 2001 to 2005, warned Clinton to "be very careful" regarding emails. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump reasserted his hardline position against illegal immigrants in the country, hours after he came back from Mexico having met president Enrique Pena Nieto.&nbsp; 
 
Reiterating his plans to curb illegal immigration into the country, Trump said he would &quot;build a great wall along the southern border&quot; if he came to power.

The invitation came from the Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto.&nbsp;
