Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has been fined 15% of his match fee and hit with one demerit point after he was found guilty of breaching the ICC Players Conduct in the fifth ODI against India in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday.

As a result&sbquo; Rabada now has five demerit points on his disciplinary record after he received three against Sri Lanka in an ODI match last year and one in the Lord&rsquo;s Test against England also last year.

Tuesday&rsquo;s incident happened in the eighth over of India&rsquo;s innings when Rabada, after dismissing Shikhar Dhawan, waved at the departing batsman and also made a comment which could have resulted in a reaction from the batsman.

If during the rolling 24-month period, Rabada reaches eight or more demerit points, he will be suspended again from either two Tests; one Test and two ODIs/T20Is; or four ODIs/T20Is, whichever comes first in the itinerary.
