Food delivery partners in New York city will get a minimum wage. This move comes at a time when there has been a surge in app-based food delivery services. As per one estimate, New York's food delivery workers currently make on average about 7 dollars an hour. The new pay-rate will allow them to eventually earn nearly 20 dollars an hour.
