<p>An eight-month-old&nbsp;baby girl was allegedly raped by her 28-year-old cousin in the national capital&#39;s Shalimar Bagh.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The incident happened on Sunday when the parents of the baby were out to&nbsp;work.</p>

<p>The incident was discovered by the mother when she returned from work and found her daughter lying in a pool of blood.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The infant was immediately admitted to a hospital where she underwent a surgery.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The condition of the baby is stable now.</p>

<p>&quot;I had left for work leaving my children at home. My wife works too. So she too left for work soon after. When she came back, she saw blood-soaked&nbsp;bed and clothes of the child. When she told this to her sister-in-law she made excuses.My child is in critical condition now&quot; said the father.</p>
