Noor was killed by the Nazis at the Dachau concentration camp in 1944. The honour will be given by the English Heritage which manages historical monuments in the UK.

The blue plaque was launched in 1866 in London and commemorates the link between locations and famous people as a historical marker. The British secret agent was earlier awarded the George Cross and the French Croix de Guerre posthumously.

Her bust was unveiled at London's Gordon Square Gardens in 2012, she was born in Moscow in 1914 to an Indian father and an American mother and was a direct descendant of Tipu Sultan. She served in Special Operations Executive set up by Britain's wartime prime minister Winston Churchill in 1940.

She was executed at the concentration camp aged just 30, Noor ran a spy ring in Paris during World War-II after she was dropped by the UK behind enemy lines in France.&nbsp;

She was captured by the Gestapo and taken to prison but had managed to escape earlier but was again recaptured and sent to the concentration camp.

Noor will be awarded with the plaque at a ceremony on Friday on English Heritage's Facebook channel.&nbsp;

A formation of fighter aircraft, including Israeli Air Force F-16s and Eurofighter jets from the German Luftwaffe, began the commemorations with an overfly of the Fuerstenfeldbruck airbase near Munich to mark the Olympic massacre.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic&nbsp;it is the only training mission the Israeli Air Force (IAF) is conducting abroad this year.

Luftwaffe chief Ingo Gerhartz in a statement called the joint exercise "a sign of our friendship today".

He said it was also a reminder that Germany has an enduring responsibility "to fight anti-semitism with the utmost consistency" because of its Nazi past.

The IAF said the mission, which runs until August 28, will give its pilots a chance to practise in unfamiliar surroundings and will include simulated dogfights, air-to-ground battles and missile threats.

Israeli pilots will also take part in aerial manoeuvres with Germany and other NATO members during the deployment.

Germany and&nbsp;Israel&nbsp;have stepped up military cooperation in recent years, with the Luftwaffe taking part in joint exercises in the Israeli Negev desert in 2019.

But the landmark Israeli visit to Germany is heavy with history.&nbsp;Nine members of the 1972 Israeli Olympic team were killed in a shootout in Munich after being taken hostage by Palestinian militants.

The gunmen had earlier already shot dead an Israeli coach and athlete at the Olympic Village.

They were murdered "by a common enemy of&nbsp;Israel&nbsp;and Germany: terror", an Israeli air force officer who asked to be identified only as "Major T" told AFP.

The German and Israeli jets then flew low over the Dachau site, which was built in 1933 and served as a model for other concentration camps.

More than 40,000 Jews were killed at Dachau concentration camp during World War II.

The flyover will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at Dachau to be attended by IAF commander Amikam Norkin and his German counterpart Gerhartz, as well as German Defence Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer and the Israeli ambassador to Germany, Jeremy Issacharoff.

An Israeli officer, the grandson of a Dachau survivor, will give a speech.

An iron gate stolen from a former concentration camp at Dachau in 2014 has been found in Norway, Bavaria police officials said today.&nbsp;

The gate, which bore a Nazi slogan &ldquo;Arbeit Macht Frei&rdquo;, meaning &ldquo;Work sets you free&rdquo;, was discovered after an &ldquo;anonymous tip-off&rdquo;, the police said.&nbsp;

The gate was stolen two years ago in November in what authorities believe to be an organised crime.&nbsp;

&ldquo;Due to an anonymous tipoff, police in Norway&rsquo;s Bergen have secured an iron gate with the well-known text,&rdquo; Bavaria state police said on Friday. &ldquo;From the picture transmitted, police believe it is highly likely that this is the iron gate that was stolen from Dachau.&rdquo;&nbsp;

The Dachau concentration camp was opened in 1933. Earlier used to incarcenate political prisoners, the camp went on to persecute 41,000 Jews during the World War II. The camp was liberated by the US troops in 1945.&nbsp;

Another gate with the same bearings was stolen from the &nbsp;Aushwitz concentration camp in December 2009.&nbsp;
