The 2019 Lok Sabha election has seen an increase in the number of criminal and crorepati candidates. The report released by the National Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) on Monday stated that out of the 7,928 candidates analysed in the current election, 2,297 were crorepatis.
