In a bid to prepare itself for potential surge in COVID-19 cases during the fall, the Food and Drug administration (FDA) of the United States of America has decided to upgrade the Omicron specific booster shots. The new jabs are expected to be bivalent in nature that will target the original COVID strain as well as the virus's most recent strain.
