With the talks of disengagement along the LAC, India, and China have been holding diplomatic and military level talks constantly. Ministry of External Affairs in a statement said "Because of the massive build on the Chinese side, the situation took a serious turn on the LAC. The Chinese side must respect the sanity of the LAC, and respect border understanding in order to reduce tensions."

In the latest India and China have begun disengagement at the three flashpoints along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). The Chinese troops have started to withdraw from the Indian territory.
