<p>The talks between the three sides on the matter of chip control are reportedly private. The Bloomberg report added that there is no plan for a public announcement of restrictions that will likely be implemented.</p>

<p>Earlier, reports had emerged saying that the Dutch and Japanese export controls against China, on the lines of Washington, may be finalised by the end of January.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The leaders of three countries, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan, Prime Minister Mark Rutte of the Netherlands and the US President Joe Biden had reportedly discussed the plans to impose export controls against China earlier in the month.</p>

<p>"I am fairly confident we will get there," Mark Rutte, the Netherlands Prime Minister was quoted as saying by Bloomberg from the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.&nbsp;</p>

Japan, too, has companies that rival the US in chip-gear technology dominance. <p>A woman in China was found hiding 202 computer chips and nine smartphones inside her fake baby bump during routine border check, reflecting the flourishing underground market for chips and cheap processors that has sprung up in China.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The woman was crossing into Zhuhai in the southern Guangdong province of China where she was arrested for smuggling semiconductors inside a pregnancy prosthetic. An officer who was part of the team that arrested the woman during routine border check said that he became suspicious of the woman after preliminary questioning.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"She was about five or six months pregnant but had a really big belly that looked like she was in the third trimester," an officer is quoted to have said by Bloomberg.</p>

<p>China reportedly has a massive grey market that involves hundreds of middlemen and remains riddled with second-hand chips.</p>
