<p>An 87-year-old India cricket fan, named Charulata Patel, became the&nbsp;internet sensation after she was spotted cheering for Team India during the <a href="https://www.wionews.com/sports/world-cup-india-beat-bangladesh-by-28-runs-to-make-semis-232562">India vs Bangladesh World Cup&nbsp;match</a> at Edgbaston on Tuesday.</p>

<p>Indian skipper Virat Kohli could not resist himself from meeting Charulata&nbsp;and he also called her one of the most passionate and dedicated fans he has ever seen.</p>

<p>Virat took to Twitter to thank the&nbsp;special fan, he wrote, "Also would like to thank all our fans for all the love &amp; support &amp; especially Charulata Patel ji. She's 87 and probably one of the most passionate &amp; dedicated fans I've ever seen. Age is just a number, the passion takes you leaps &amp; bounds. With her blessings, on to the next one."</p>

<p>Indian fans started the celebrations when India entered the semi-finals of the tournament after&nbsp;defeating&nbsp;Bangladesh by 28 runs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During the match, Charulata was spotted in the stands blowing a vuvuzela and fans and commentators appreciated her spirit for the game even at this age.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Charulata, who saw India lift the World Cup for the first time in 1983, said she had danced back then and will dance again after India beat Bangladesh.&nbsp;</p>
