Although the full details of the divorce agreement remain private, it has been confirmed that both parties will handle any future custody disputes through private negotiations with a judge. 
 
According to documents obtained by E! News, the couple's separation agreement included contentious discussions regarding Tatum's financial interests in the 'Magic Mike' franchise, which had become a significant point of contention in their legal proceedings. 
 
Jenna filed for divorce in 2018, citing various disagreements over shared assets, particularly concerning the intellectual property from Magic Mike. As per E! News, in a recent filing, Jenna claimed that Tatum had placed the earnings from the franchise into an irrevocable trust and had transferred licensing rights without her knowledge. 
 
Tatum refuted these claims, stating, "I have never denied (Jenna) her share of any community assets or income," and emphasised that she had full access to their financial records during their marriage.

In the months leading up to the settlement, tensions escalated between the two. Tatum accused Dewan of purposely delaying the proceedings. He argued that her attempts to disqualify his legal team were unfounded and aimed at obstructing the case.&nbsp;

In court documents &nbsp;filed on April 9, Dewan – who married Tatum in July 2009 before filing for divorce in 2018 – wants her ex to "testify regarding all issues related to the parties' marriage including business and financial activities." Dewan's list of witnesses also includes Tatum's business manager, Eric Fulton, his accountant, Tracy Faryl Katz, and more. 
 
In Tatum's witness list, the actor has called on Dewan and her fiancé, Steve Kazee, to testify "regarding his and Petitioner’s cohabitation, joint expenses and all related matters." 
 
According to reports, the duo will face off in court on April 12 to discuss the division of property which includes profit share of Magic Mike - an IP, reimbursement claims, support, breach of fiduciary duty and attorneys' fees and other costs.&nbsp; 
 
"While this case has been pending for some time, it is Jenna’s contention that the cause of the delay is (Channing's) refusal to accept an equal division of the ‘Magic Mike' intellectual property. Once trial on that issue has concluded the remaining issues will be relatively straightforward in comparison," the documents state. 
 
"By way of background, the parties have spent the better part of three years attempting to resolve the issues with the assistance of a retired judicial officer. In fact, they have attended multiple settlement conferences as well has engaged in settlement discussions."
