<h2>Did Sheena's bones actually go missing?</h2>

The revelation comes as the trial court received an email and a letter which claimed that her remains are in possession of a forensic expert who had examined her skeleton and who deposed before the court as a witness.

It further alleged that the witness, identified by reports as Dr Zeba Khan, has suddenly amassed wealth.

Defence lawyers were informed about the email by special CBI judge S P Naik Nimbalkar on Wednesday. The Defence, as per news agency PTI, submitted that the allegation should be investigated. The presiding judge has now sought a response from the central probe agency.

The CBI informed the court that&nbsp;the bones went untraceable on April 24. As per the report, it further stated on June 10 that they could not be found.

The daughter of socialite Indrani Mukerjea is Sheena Bora, and she is 24 years old. She was murdered in 2012, allegedly by her mother Indrani and others, in 2012.&nbsp;

The murder case came to light in 2015, three years after the murder. At the time, it was alleged that Indrani, with the help of her ex-husband Sanjeev Khan and driver Shyamvar Rai, strangled Sheena in April 2012. Sheena's body was allegedly burnt in a forest in Maharashtra's Raigad.

Sheena Bora's bones finally found in CBI's Delhi office, but won't be used as evidence. Here's why

India’s&nbsp;federal investigative agency&nbsp;Central&nbsp;Bureau of Investigation (CBI)&nbsp;on&nbsp;Friday (Apr 26) recovered arms, including foreign-made pistols, from West&nbsp;Bengal’s&nbsp;Sandeshkhali. The federal agency had gone there to raid places in connection with the attack on the officers of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) by a mob led by a leader of the local ruling TMC party, Sheikh Shahjahan. As the large cache of weapons&nbsp;was discovered, CBI called in a team of National Security Guard (NSG) commandos to take control of the area.

The ED team was attacked on January 5 as they went to raid the premises of Shajahan Sheikh in connection with a ration scam.

It must be noted&nbsp;that the West Bengal High Court had directed the CBI to take up the probe into allegations of land grabbing and sexual assault in Sandeshkhali. The CBI had also filed three FIRs about the case.

<h2>West Bengal government reaches Supreme&nbsp;Court</h2>

Meanwhile, the West Bengal government, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, reached the Supreme Court Friday against the&nbsp;HC’s&nbsp;order.

In Sandeshkhali, women held protests against the ruling TMC and Shahjahan, accusing him and his aides of committing atrocities and seizing their lands illegally.

NSG commandoes deployed in Bengal’s Sandeshkhali after CBI seizes foreign-made arms

J S Sidharthan, a second-year veterinary student at the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in Pookode, Wayanad, was reportedly subjected to severe ragging and assault, allegedly by SFI leaders. Sidharthan was found hanging in his hostel bathroom on February 18. The SFI, however, has refuted these allegations.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated an inquiry into the death of J S Sidharthan, whose body was found within the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) campus in Pookode, Wayanad.

According to information provided by Kerala police in the case file transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the veterinary student from Kerala had endured continuous assault for nearly 29 hours from seniors as well as classmates prior to his suicide.

Central government had issued a notification for a CBI investigation into Sidharthan's death. The CBI issued a notification announcing that they are taking over the case following a directive from the Kerala High Court.

A public interest litigation (PIL) has been moved in Delhi High Court seeking a SIT or CBI investigation into the case related to 'Bois Locker Room'&nbsp;social media group, in which a bunch of schoolboys allegedly shared objectionable pictures of minor girls and discussed techniques of raping women.

The PIL, filed by Dev Ashish Dubey through advocates Dushyant Tiwari and Omprakash Parihar on Friday, sought protection for the girls and women who called out the alleged criminal activities in the social media group. The plea is likely to be heard by the court on May 13.

The petition said that screenshots from an Instagram group called "Bois Locker Room" were shared by social media users, which revealed chats between a group of school students from Class 11 and 12 sharing photos of underage girls, followed by lurid discussions on their bodies.

It said that the group also allegedly used to share nude/morphed photographs of women.

"The group is run by and has membership of 16 to 18-year-old boys from posh schools in South Delhi, all of whom were involved in the objectification of their classmates and other women, some as young as 14 years of age," the petitin said.It said that the expletive-laden chats show the boys discussing having physical relationship with their classmates as well as rating them on a scale of beauty."

The obscene and objectionable pictures and vulgar comments by members of the group and once their comments came to light, instead of being apologetic or fearful, they openly threatened the girls who called them out with dire consequences, which shows that these girls might face threat such as rape, gang-rape, torture, etc," the plea said.

"The offence committed by these students through the group is illegal and amounts of violation of various laws of India. Morphing photos and sharing images of people's private parts is a violation of Section 66E of the Information Technology Act, as well as Section 354C of the Indian Penal Code," it added.

The plea claimed that the members of the group have committed several offences, including defamation, threatening women, etc, which are punishable under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

It said that the actions of these students show the mindset of the young generation towards girls and added that if it is not stopped and these people are not punished, it may lead to an increase in crime against the women in the future.

The issue needs to be investigated by SIT or CBI as these students belongs to high profile families and there is an apprehension that the investigation or enquiry conducted by the local police will be influenced and wrongdoer`s will never be arrested and punished, the plea said.

The Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) court on Saturday dismissed the bail plea of an alleged arms dealer and businessman Sushen Mohan Gupta in connection with AgustaWestland money laundering case.

Gupta had filed an application for a bail plea on April 6.

During the course of the hearing, ED's Special Public Prosecutors DP Singh and Naveen Kumar Matta had accused Gupta of 'influencing'&nbsp;Rajiv Saxena after the latter was allowed to turn "approver" in the case by the court.

"When one of our witnesses wanted to be an approver, Gupta went to Dubai to desist him. He had started calling him when there was a buzz on diaries," had added the counsels.

The ED had previously said that two diaries in the form of a pen drive were recovered from the possession of Saxena, which allegedly belonged to Gupta.

Opposing Gupta's bail plea, ED had also contended that the statement given by Gupta in 2016 that he did not have any knowledge of Interstellar Technologies, a Mauritius-based company through which money was laundered, was "wrong"."But later during the investigation, it came to light that Gupta was the one who gave the instructions for the transfer of funds," ED had added.

Gupta's counsels, Advocate Siddharath Aggarwal and PV Kapoor, however, had argued that he had joined the investigation as and when summoned."There is no scope of apprehension regarding his availability," they had said.

Gupta was arrested on March 26 and is currently lodged in Tihar jail. The court, on April 8, had sent Gupta to judicial custody till April 20.

In his bail plea, Gupta submitted that he fully cooperated with investigation agencies and had complied with all directions given by them, adding that he has neither been accused of evading the law nor has he interfered with the investigation in any manner.
