In Spain people have come out onto the streets opposing negotiations between the ruling Spanish government and the Catalan separatist parties. These ongoing negotiations are over an Amnesty for thousands who are involved in Catalonia's Independence Movement.

Approximately 7,000 people demonstrated against acting prime minister Pedro Sanchez's proposal to pardon Catalan separatist leaders who took part in the illegal independence referendum of 2017 at the Socialist Party headquarters in Madrid.
