As more and more businesses turn to social media to educate customers and target audience with respect to their product or service, WhatsApp recently published a blog giving out more information about its brand new application designed especially for business accounts.&nbsp;

While a business account will sport a grey question mark badge in its profile, a confirmed account will have a grey checkmark badge.&nbsp;

A business account will get confirmed only after WhatsApp confirms the phone number associated with the account with the number linked to the business. A verified account, on the other hand, will feature a green checkmark badge in its profile right after WhatsApp confirms that an authentic brand owns the business account.&nbsp;
