In the wake of looming concerns around the alleged link between a Russian anti-virus software and cyber-spying operations, the British National Cyber-Security Centre (NCSC) has managed to spot some vulnerability while reviewing its anti-virus solutions.&nbsp;

A security flaw described as a remote code execution bug, discovered by the NCSC, would facilitate an attack to take full control of an unpatched system. The bug may also affect Microsoft`s Windows system including the latest Windows 10.&nbsp;

An unpatched system is described as an old system which doesn&#39;t have its security updated. These kind of systems are therefore most vulnerable to viruses and other attacks in case malicious files are accessed on the computer with real-time protection turned on.

The British agency and Microsoft are now working together to tackle the problem by updating its malware protection engine with the latest version that is capable of removing the bug.&nbsp;
