<p>The remarks by JD(U) Chief comes after his party's senior leader blazed gun over the alliance by asserting that his party was the senior partner in the alliance and must get more seats.<br />

<p>Nitish Kumar has won the Bihar assembly trust vote.</p>

<p>131 votes were polled in his favour and 108 against.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nitish had always been expected to win the trust vote.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He had needed 122 votes to cross the halfway mark and win the trust vote.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Before the trust vote, Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Prasad&#39;s son, had said to Nitish: &quot;... aren&#39;t you ashamed to sit beside Sushil Modi?&quot;</p>

<p>Nitish had replied, &quot;Secularism cannot be used to justify corruption.&quot;</p>

<p>The earlier JD(U)-RJD alliance -- Tejashwi had been deputy chief minister under that formulation -- had been called off after Tejashwi and his mother Rabri Devi had been named in an FIR filed by the CBI accusing them of corruption.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Nitish Kumar resigned unexpectedly on Wednesday. A little later, it was announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal United (JDU) would form the new government in Bihar.&nbsp;</p>
