<p>The painting drew the attention of Israel's representative to the UN, Danny Danon, who called the artwork a "disgrace" and demanded the authorities to remove it from the display.</p>

<p>The display was part of an exhibition called "Peace Flags" which was a way to "re-purpose fashion waste for positive impact," the UN said.</p>

<p>The UN told Fox News that a staff member informed the organisation a few displays, along with the one with the phrase, could not be displayed.</p>

<p>After which the painting was kept covered in the second week of October but "someone removed those covers" earlier this week.</p>

<p>To criticise the painting by calling it the UN's lack of leadership, Danon took to X and wrote, "Yesterday, I exposed the hypocrisy of the UN through an exhibition featuring children’s drawings where the State of Israel was erased and filled with hateful imagery."</p>

<p>He further added, "After firmly addressing the UN leadership this exhibition was fixed, and these antisemitic drawings were removed from the walls. We will stand up for truth, and each time we witness acts of antisemitism and hypocrisy, we will confront them head-on."</p>

<p>"Make no mistake Mr Skibicki, because of the current state of the law, the only available sentence that I can impose today will regrettably not adequately reflect the gravity of these offences," said Judge Glen Joyal while pronouncing the sentence after family members of the women made impact statements.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The women were "preyed upon and targeted" by a white supremacist who was acting upon his homicidal necrophilia, said the judge.</p>

<p>“The heinous crimes committed by Mr Skibicki have left a deep scar on First Nations people and the reverberations of his actions will be felt for generations,” said Grand Chief Cathy Merrick of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs.</p>

<p>Jeremy Skibicki, whose online presence showed him leaning towards far-right views, killed the indegenuos women between March and May of 2022.</p>

<p>Skibicki met two of the victims in homeless shelters, according to court documents.</p>

<p>He killed Morgan Harris, 39, Marcedes Myran, 26, Rebecca Contois, 24 and a fourth unidentified woman. That victim was named Mashkode Bizhiki’ikwe, or Buffalo Woman, by Indigenous elders. A buffalo head was placed on a red cloth on a table near the prosecutors in the court during the trial as a tribute to her.</p>

<p>Skibicki eventually confessed to having killed four women.</p>

<p>A US school teacher was arrested for reportedly threatening to behead a student after she raised objections over the Israeli flag in her classroom. Benjamin Reese, the teacher, has been charged with terror threats and cruelty to children, reported ABC News. Reese works as a seventh-grade Social Studies teacher for the Warner Robins Middle School.</p>

<p>The Houston County Sheriff's Office said that the incident was reported by another teacher at the school, who saw Reese yelling at the students on Dec 7.</p>

<p>"I'll kick your a**! I should cut your mother*****g head off,” said the 51-year-old Georgia teacher to students, as reported by the other teacher.</p>

<h2><strong>Teacher-student conversation, as per police report</strong></h2>

<p>According to police report, the student had “pointed at the Israeli flag and told Reese that she has a question about it."</p>

<p>The student reportedly asked why the Israeli flag was hanging in their classroom, to which the teacher responded by saying "that he was Jewish and has family members that still live there.”</p>

<p>The student found the flag offensive as “Israelis were killing the Palestinians,” as per the police.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It was unclear whether the student was referring to the Israeli actions in Gaza in the ongoing war against Hamas.</p>

<p>The incident report cited the student as saying that the teacher "was trying to keep her from leaving and demanded to know who she was and who was her first-period teacher."</p>

<p>The incident led to many students and faculty members raising concerns. However, when Reese was confronted about it, he simply denied speaking to anyone in the hallway. Later, he accused the student of being “antisemitic”.</p>
