The standard models of cosmology and galaxy formation have been incredibly successful, yet, these luminous objects do not quite fit comfortably into those theories," Bingjie Wang, a postdoctoral scholar at Penn State and lead author on the paper told ScienceDaily.&nbsp;</p>
