In a happy news for the farmers of India, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed paying off the debt of 1398 farmers from the state of Uttar Pradesh amounting to a total of Rs 4.05 crore.&nbsp;

In a gratitude-filled post on Monday night, Amitabh wrote on his blog about making arrangements for the farmers to receive their money. He also mentioned that he has arranged for some 70 farmers to visit him in Mumbai and receive their letters.&nbsp;

"Gratitude leans across to the desire of removing some of the burdens that farmers continue to suffer from... It was Maharashtra first, when over 350 farmers loans were taken care of... now it's UP and 1398 of them that had outstanding of loans on banks has been done with an outlay of 4.05 crore.

"And the inner peace it generates when the desired is completed," he wrote.

This isn’t the first time when Amitabh has extended a helping hand to the farmers as he previously helped 350 farmers from Maharashtra by paying off their loans.

The Bar Council of Delhi has issued a legal notice to Amitabh Bachchan for donning a lawyer’s attire in an advertisement. As seen in the ad of a spices brand, Amitabh sports the official uniform of a lawyer which didn’t go down well with the Bar Council.

The notice stated that respondents have failed to take due precautions before using the lawyer's attire and are liable for legal action for telecasting the advertisement without any authority.

The notice reads: “You are required to immediately stop all such advertisements and also give an undertaking to the Bar Council of Delhi, Bar Council of India and other states Bar Councils that the lawyers' attire shall not be used in any advertisement in future.”

The Bar Council also asked the respondents to give an undertaking in 10 days, failing which further action will be initiated.

This is the second time when Amitabh’s ad faced legal action. Earlier, an ad featuring him and daughter Shweta Bachchan had to be withdrawn after legal action was threatened against them for portraying bank employees in a negative light.&nbsp;

The Telugu film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ has an elaborate ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kichcha Sudeep, Tamannah Bhatia, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagpathy Babu apart from Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan.&nbsp;

The film is produced by Chiranjeevi’s star son Ram Charan under their home banner Konidela Productions. It is directed by Surender Reddy.&nbsp;

The film marks the Telugu debut of music composer Amit Trivedi.&nbsp;
