The decision came as surprise to many of his fans even though Khan was not very regular on any of the social media platforms.</p>

<p>Khan quit social media on Sunday, a day after his birthday on March 15, setting off wild theories on social media and the media.<br />

"Do not put your theories about me quitting social media. Main apni dhunki mein rehta hoon (I live by my will), and above all where am I on social media? I thought to myself that as it is I don`t share anything, so I decided to quit," said Aamir on Tuesday when the paparazzi questioned him.&nbsp;</p>
