<p>The state assembly deputy speaker V. Jayaraman (EPS-OPS faction) has clarified that he will take a decision on the eighteen dissenting MLAs, hoping that they return to their faction.</p>

<p>Earlier, the&nbsp;AIADMK faction led by TTV Dhinakarn had filed a petition in the Tamil Nadu High Court requesting for a floor test in the state assembly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The MLAs from the Dhinakaran faction have also raised question over the removal of VK Sasikala calling the AIADMK Gen Council meeting that led to the ousting of Sasikala as illegal.</p>

<p>They said to the &nbsp;Election Commission officials &quot; AIADMK Gen Council meet where VK Sasikala was ousted shouldn&#39;t be considered legal.</p>
