Saina beats Sindhu to clinch national championships

Former World No-1 Saina Nehwal beat Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu to win the Badminton National Championship on Wednesday.

27-year-old Saina beat Sindhu in straight games 21-17 27-25 in a thrilling 54-minute duel.

"I am surprised with the way I played today. I moved well and picked Sindhu's difficult shots," Saina said after beating Sindhu.
