Novak Djokovic beats Rafael Nadal to win record 7th Australian Open title 

By virtue of this win, he's won a record seventh Australian Open title and his 15th grand slam title. He’s gone above Pete Sampras in the all-time list. He’s two behind Nadal and five behind Roger Federer.

The game lasted for just two hours and four minutes.

Djokovic had hit 34 winners to 21 for Nadal. He only made nine unforced errors while Nadal made 28. Djokovic converted five of eight break points and only had to save one break point.
