IPL 2018: Delhi wins toss, elects to bowl

Delhi captain Gautam Gambhir on Wednesday won the toss and decided to bowl first in the IPL match against Rajasthan in Jaipur.

Delhi made two changes bringing in Glenn Maxwell in place of Daniel Christian and Nadeem replaces Amit Mishra. 

"Looks a good wicket, won't change much. Perhaps dew will come in. That's why we are chasing. Just the start of the tournament, need to get the combination right," Gambhir said. 

"We have the full squad now. Maxi is back which is a huge plus and we all know how dangerous he can be. Guys are getting used to the combinations. Important to get the combinations right and hopefully we can do it, " he added.

Rajasthan plays the unchanged eleven.

Talking about their strategy Rahane said, "We would have bowled as well but as I said, toss isn't in our control. Happy to bat first and later defend it. Looks a good track and T20 is all about starting afresh. It's all about doing well on that day."

"The boys have worked really hard. I think the boys have adjusted to the conditions well, especially the overseas ones," he added.
