Horner investigation: Red Bull team boss' fate to be out before Bahrain GP

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner hasbeen dealing with seriousallegations levelled by a female employee about his conduct. While Horner has deniedall charges against him, he could either lose hisjob or be cleared of all claimsahead ofSaturday's season-opening BahrainFormulaOneGrand Prix. The verdict regarding Horner's investigation is set to be out soon.

As per sources, whotalked to Reuters,an announcement is expected from Red Bull's Salzburg-based Austrian parent company before the raceat Sakhir, and possibly within the next 48 hours. It is to be noted that the allegations against Horner shocked many and an investigation into the sport's longest-serving principalhas been ongoing since early January. However, details emerged to the public weeks later.

Not much is known about the allegations

Both Red Bull and the reigning champions have not opened up on what the allegations are. However, media reports have indicated that Horner is under the radar for inappropriate and controlling behaviour towards a female colleague.

If Horner is out ofRed Bull, it will certainly be a huge blow. Hornerand his team had a memorable run in 2023, dominating the entire season inFormulaOnehistory.Red Bull ended up winning21 of 22 races and will kick off the new season with Dutch driver Max Verstappen chasing a fourth successive title. Mexico's Sergio Perez is the team's other driver.

Ahead of the Bahrain GP, all eyes are now on the verdict in Horner's investigation. If he is found guilty, it will impact the entire team as well.
