Business tycoon Vijay Mallya was booed by Indian fans when entering The Oval cricket ground in London to watch the key India-South Africa match in the Champions Trophy.
Indian supporters began chanting "chor, chor"(thief) when they spotted United Breweries Group chairman Mallya in their midst.
Mallya has been at the centre of controversy with the Indian team, just last week Indian captain Virat Kohli had hosted a charity event when suddenly Mallya walked in, apparently uninvited, the Indian team reportedly walked out hurriedly.

The "King of Good Times" Mallya - his corporate empire once straddled real estate, beverage alcohol and aviation infrastructure - has been living in London since March, 2016, after several Indian banks knocked on his doorto repay around $1.4 billion.
The flamboyant businessman has been in the doldrums over the last couple of years as Indian authorities have put pressure on the UK to extradite him.
Mallya faces a catalogue of fraud and loan default cases in India.
Recently, India's Supreme Court ordered the businessman to appear before the court on July 10 after it found him guilty of contempt of court for not appearing in the cases that have been stacked against him.
Perhaps, the only silver lining for Mallya was the fact that India restricted South Africa to 191 in a do-or-die clash in the Champions Trophy.
Mallya was quite active on Twitter on Sunday as he congratulated Force India team in the Canadian Grand Prix and retweeted Kingfisher beer's tweet:
