Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah has raised questions over the government-appointed interlocutor in Jammu and Kashmir.

While addressing the state assembly, Abdullah said today that they are not aware of Dineshwar Sharma's role in Jammu and Kashmir. He questioned whether Dineshwar Sharma was a spokesperson, an interlocutor or a special representative.

"We don't know what Dineshwar Sharma's role is? Is he a spokesman, an interlocutor or a special representative? Is there a time frame or will he be here indefinitely?", Omar Abdullah said.

Omar Abdullah hit out at the state government saying that they blamed him for the creation of "Burhan Wani".

He also asked the Jammu and Kashmir government that if they were aware of how many Burhan Wanis had been born in the last one-and-a-half years.
