Days after journalist Vinod Dua lashed out atBollywood star Akshay Kumar for a statement he made on Dua's daughter Mallika on a TV reality show "Great Indian Laughter Challenge", the actor's wife, Twinkle Khanna spoke in defense of her husband on Twitter.
In one of the leaked video clippings, that have been doing the rounds of the net, Akshay Kumar is seen telling Mallika, "Mallika ji, aap bell bajao, mai aapko bajaata hoon."
The clipping, however never made to on air. Soon after Vinod Dua lashed out atthe actor on his Facebook page, "I am going to screw this cretin Akshay Kumar for telling his co-worker Mallika Dua that 'Aap bell bajao, main aap ko bajata hun' (You ring the bell, I will bang you)... This is his sense of humour and language... Wake up."
Mallika, too, had shared the video clipping on social media and and said, "Hey! Quick question. Does anyone find 5:26 funny? Charming? Entertaining? Family entertainment. GEC."
Later both the posts were removed by Mallikaand her father.
While Kumar chose to keep mum on the matter, his wife Twinkle Khanna, on Sunday tweeted about the matter stating, "Words, especially humour has to be seen in right context."
